USES:
A protective and decorative exterior acrylic-based non-textured finish. Compatible with Parex finishes. May be applied over them.
To promote color uniformity of repaired surfaces.
To color architectural details and graphics on any of the Parex Finish Coatings.
Recoating existing textured finishes.

COVERAGE:
One coat: 800 - 1000 ft² (74 - 106 m²) /pail, approximately, depending on the method of application and surface to which it is applied.

CONTAINER:
55 lbs. (27.7 kg) net weight in 5 gal. (18.9L) plastic pails.
Storage: Protect from sun and freezing at all times.
Shelf Life: One year if protected from sun and freezing.

DRYING TIME:
Approximately 1-4 hours depending upon temperature, humidity and substrate. Can be recoated after 8 hours. Allow minimum 5 days curing before washing surface.

CLEAN-UP:
Water soluble prior to drying. Clean tools and containers with water prior to drying.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Textured Finishes: Remove surface contaminants such as dust or dirt without damaging the substrate.

MIXING:
Stir Parex Recoat Gel to a uniform consistency.
Avoid creating air bubbles or foam.

APPLICATION:
Parex Recoat Gel exhibits good surface coverage in single applications. However, two coats of Parex Recoat Gel may be required to obtain adequate cover of the surface.
Parex Recoat Gel is easily applied with roller or suitable spray equipment. Apply Parex Recoat Gel as packaged. If necessary, add a small amount of clean potable water: maximum 8 oz. (1 cup) (.24L) per pail.

LIMITATIONS:
Ambient and surface temperatures must be 40° F (4° C) or above during application and drying time. Supplemental heat and protection from precipitation must be provided as needed.
Use only on surfaces that are sound, clean, dry, and free from any residue which may affect the ability of the Recoat Gel to bond to the surface.
The product cannot be used to change colors from dark to light, but can be used to change color light to dark.
