Continuous Insulation (CI)
System description
Parex, a brand of Sika. An extremely energy efficient, light weight cladding that is versatile in design. From providing a true stucco look to realistically mimicking stone, brick, and other exterior claddings, CI can wrap almost any structure in a blanket of insulation. This allows building owners to obtain the look and feel they desire yet enjoy the operating benefits of low energy costs. Additionally, as a light weight cladding, CI allows building designers to reduce the structural requirements, and thus costs, in designing a building. Whether the project is new construction or the renovation of an existing building the design and energy benefits of CI make this cladding an ideal solution.

AquaSol WaterMaster CI is our elite CI system. It has all the benefits of the base level CI system and drainage system. However, AquaSol WaterMaster CI makes use of a premium base coat & adhesive as well as our best CI system finish; AquaSol. The use of these two components allows Parex to back this system with an improved warranty and ensure your building maintains its aesthetic appeal for a longer duration.
Optimum WaterMaster CI is our premium CI system. It has all the benefits of the base level CI system and drainage system. However, Optimum WaterMaster CI makes use of a premium base coat & adhesive as well as the premium Optimum finish. The use of these two components allows Parex to back this system with an improved warranty and ensure your building maintains its aesthetic appeal for a longer duration.
Parex, a brand of Sika, Standard WaterMaster CI is a drainage CI system. This system offers the base level benefits available in CI systems; energy efficiency, light weight, versatile design, and economical installation. This system is superior in that the water-resistive barrier is liquid applied which means less chance for rips and tears. This liquid applied water-resistive barrier also acts as an air barrier allowing for climate control systems to operate more efficiently. Drainage is achieved through vertical ribbons of adhesive providing a larger drainage plane for incidental moisture.
AquaSol WaterMaster XPS is our elite drainage CI system. Like AquaSol WaterMaster CI, this system also offers the base level of benefits available in CI; energy efficiency, light weight, versatile design, and economical installation. This system also utilizes Dow™ Panel Core 20 XPS board, which is designed specifically for CI. Dow™ Panel Core 20 XPS provides greater R Value when compared to standard EPS foam boar
Optimum WaterMaster XPS is our premium drainage CI system. Like Optimum WaterMaster CI, this system also offers the base level of benefits available in CI; energy efficiency, light weight, versatile design, and economical installation. This system also utilizes Dow™ Panel Core 20 XPS board, which is designed specifically for CI. Dow™ Panel Core 20 XPS provides greater R Value when compared to standard EPS foam board.
Standard WaterMaster XPS is our premium drainage EIF system. Like Standard EIFS, this system also offers the base level of benefits available in EIFS; energy efficiency, light weight, versatile design, and economical installation.
Standard WaterMaster™ for Light Commercial & Residential (LCR) is our base drainage CI system. This system offers the base level of benefits available in CI systems; energy efficiency, light weight, versatile design, and economical installation. The EPS foam is mechanically attached. Standard WaterMaster LCR CI includes the use of a water-restiveness barrier and drainage for incidental moisture. These two features deliver an improved level of moisture protection over classic CI systems. This is achieved through the use of stucco wrap water resistive barriers which provides both drainage and acts as a water-resistive barrier and is mechanically attached.
Standard CI is a classic CI system. This system offers the base level of benefits available in CI; energy efficiency, light weight, versatile design, and economical installation. Typically utilizes adhesive attachment of EPS foam. The system can be upgraded to use heavier weights of mesh to allow for superior impact resistance. Range of finish and color options provided for nearly unlimited design creativity.
Parex Hurricane Zone (HZ) Systems are tested and approved for High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) performance. All Parex HZ systems hold current Notice of Approvals from the Miami-Dade Building Code Compliance Office. In addition to HVHZ performance and NOA approvals, Parex's EIFS offer exceptional energy efficiency, low maintenance, durability and unlimited design flexibility.
